South picking up rain, sleet and snow.

 



The state is under a variety of warnings and watches a the storm slowly moves into the state. Las Cruces is reporting heavy snow his morning.

The National Weather Services says the snow will be moving north during the day and should reach the I-40 corridor mid-day.

If you have to travel, be prepared for winter weather driving condiditons. The Department of Transportation is promising regular updates on its hotline at 800.432.4269.
