The investigation into a pedestrian's death Thursday near East Central and San Mateo has produced few credible leads, police say.

About 9 p.m, a motorist struck and killed an unidentified man before fleeing, police said.

The deceased pedestrian is described as a Native American man in his late 30s or early 40s, police said Friday.

Anyone with information can call 242-COPS.
