The National Weather Service forecasts wintry weather continuing over the northern and central parts of the state today, while another storm system heads the area on Sunday and Sunday night.
As of 7:30 a.m. Saturday, the weather service was reporting the following snow totals:
-- 1.5 inches at McMahon and Unser NW in Albuquerque;
-- 1.1 inches in Clayton;
-- 4 inches in Roswell. Two additional inches fell since 1 a.m.;
-- 5 inches in Capitan. An additional 2.5 inches fell since 4 p.m. Friday;
-- 1.5 inches in Red River;
-- 4 inches in Conchas and Chama;
-- 1.7 inches in Moriarty; and
-- 2 inches in Mosquero.
