As of 10 a.m. Saturday morning, it is snowing in Albuquerque's Northeast Heights near Wyoming and Paseo del Norte. If you're planning on spending Easter Sunday in Eastern New Mexico be sure to check the road conditions before you head out. The forecast for east of Albuqueque from Weather Underground :
Winter Weather Advisory in effect for eastern New Mexico... Isolated to scattered showers will move across eastern New Mexico today producing a wintry mix of precipitation. Temperatures will remain near or below freezing. In northeastern New Mexico including Clayton...snow showers will persist this morning and throughout the day...though accumulations will be light with one or two inches possible. From Tucumcari to Clovis...snow showers may switch over to sleet in the mid day. Road conditions will remain poor...with areas of ice and restricted visibilities.
