16-year-old high school senior dies in two-vehicle collision.

Cory Holcomb was pronounced dead at the scene Thursday afternoon when the 1993 Nissan he was driving ran a stop sign and was broadsided by a pickup truck at an intersection north of Clovis, State Police told the Clovis News-Journal, according to the paper's online edition.

The driver of the pickup truck, 33-year-old Jose Campos, and his wife Rosa, 36, of Muleshoe, Texas, were treated for minor injuries at Plains Regional Medical Center and released, police told the News-Journal.

No charges will be filed against Campos, State Police Officer Jeffrey Telles told the paper.
