At least it is so far ... Have a happy last week of 2005.

There's nothing wrong with a few dull moments. The wind is dying down today, but some storms are threatening to roll in from the West Coast later this week. Meanwhile, let's enjoy the calm before the storms.

On the other hand, for commuters who use Carlisle in northeast Albuquerque, the street remains closed today between Candelaria and Claremont in both directions (not between Candelaria and Menaul as earlier reported) thanks to a sizable water main break at Carlisle and Los Arboles NE early Tuesday. While city crews work to patch the break, officials are urging drivers to use University or other alternate routes.
