The case for buying local produce grows

Local economy aside, there's a growing case for buying fresh seasonal produce from local growers.  (Can you say E-coli???)

On Thursday, the director of the N.M. Farmers' Market will join us "live" to take your questions about how to get started. Denise Miller, who also writes for the Journal's food page, will take questions for about an hour starting at 11 a.m.

You can pre-submit questions at speakup.abqjournal.com

Also, check out today's food page story on the topic by Tracy Dingmann.
