Reports of a student on campus with a weapon were unfounded, APS says.

Cibola High School went on lockdown at 12:55 p.m. today because of reports that there was a student on campus with a weapon, but the lockdown was lifted at 1:10 p.m. when the reports proved unfounded, the Albuquerque Public Schools said on its Web site.

Students were safe at all times during the incident, APS reported.

Cibola High School went into lockdown at 12:55 p.m. today,
Thursday, Oct. 11 because of reports of a student on campus with
a weapon. The reports were unfounded and the lockdown was
lifted at 1:10 p.m., Oct. 11. Students were safe at all times during
