Nearly 90 today in SE New Mexico; 72 in Albuquerque.

Hey, it's still February! Spring is still a few weeks away, and it's feeling like summer already.

We're under an open-burning ban in unincorporated Bernalillo County since Monday, and today marks the beginning of a similar ban in the Cibola National Forest. And, of course, the high-fire-danger alert is in effect for much of eastern New Mexico.

It's raining hard in California -- let's hope we get some of that.
