Could it be? Rain in the forecast for Albuquerque?

The weathermen are holding out some hope for precipitation in the Albuquerque metro area today or at least in the next 24 to 36 hours. The forecast is for a slight chance of showers late this morning, then scattered showers and maybe even thunderstorms in the afternoon. (Take a look at ABQjournal.com's Weather Underground forecast.) We'll keep our fingers crossed.

Meanwhile, temperatures aren't expected to reach yesterday's high in Albuquerque of 73, but will be in the mid to high 60s -- still unseasonably warm.
