ABQ police cordon off 5th St. SW between Coal, Lead.

 

The Albuquerque Police Department have closed off parts of Downtown Albuquerque after someone discovered a backpack in an alley next to the federal building at 5th and Gold SW around noon today, APD spokeswoman Trish Hoffman said.

"It may be nothing," said Hoffman, who said APD's bomb squad was on the scene to deal with the backpack.
