Municipal elections being held across New Mexico.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in cities, towns and villages across New Mexico today.

Municipal elections are held on the first Tuesday in March of each even-numbered year. Albuquerque is not voting today, nor is Las Cruces. But most municipalities will be choosing mayors, councilors, trustees, municipal judges -- and some, like Rio Rancho, will be voting on whether to OK a $7 million general obligation bond to build an indoor aquatic center.

Here's some last-minute information from the Albuquerque Journal on the races in Rio Rancho and in Santa Fe.

Stay tuned for results from around the state, either online as they become available or in tomorrow's Albuquerque Journal.
