Lotto Ticket Worth $5.6M Sold in N.M.
A winning lottery ticket worth $5.6 million was sold somewhere in New Mexico, State Lottery officials said.
The New Mexico ticket is the only winner, which means the entire jackpot will go to the lucky buyer.
The numbers for the Hot Lotto Jackpot were drawn Saturday, said Adriana Binns, director of marketing and communications for the State Lottery. The numbers are 5, 11, 14, 17 and 20. The Hot Ball was 2.
Binns said it was too early to tell exactly where the ticket was sold. The winner will have the option to either take the money in a lump sum of $3.5 million or in installments over time.
Lottery officials recommend the winner sign the ticket immediately and meet with a lawyer or financial advisor before coming to claim the prize.
