Thursday's holdup was Farmington's second bank robbery in six months.

A robber described as a white male in his mid-30s, from 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, with short reddish-blond hair walked into the Four Corners Community Bank in Farmington around 3 p.m. Thursday and handed a teller a demand note, the Farmington Daily Times reported.

The man, who was wearing a khaki shirt, blue jeans and a baseball cap, left with an undisclosed amount of money, the Daily Times said.

"There was a weapon implied, but it wasn't shown," FBI spokesman Darrin Jones told the Daily Times. "Pretty typical."

Anyone with information leading to the man's arrest may be eligible for a $1,000 reward by contacting the FBI at (505) 889-1300, the paper said.

A suspect is still at large in Farmington's last bank robbery, which took place in October at the Bank of America on Main Street, the Daily Times said.

The Four Corners Community Bank also was robbed in August 2005, the paper said.
