And here's a roundup of reactions to Tuesday's unprecedented address on race.

Here's MSNBC's roundup of editorial reaction from around the country to Sen. Barack Obama's speech in Philadelphia on Tuesday that had the short-term goal of defusing criticism about racially charged remarks by Obama's longtime Chicago pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

But it is also being hailed in some circles as an unusually candid reflection on racial attitudes -- and a courageous step -- from a major presidential candidate.

As for the speech itself, we linked yesterday to an advance copy that was posted on The Drudge Report moments after it was scheduled to be delivered.

And here, from the Washington Post, is the CQ Transcript of Obama's "A More Perfect Union" speech as it was delivered, along with a video link from www.washingtonpost.com, so you can watch the whole thing.
