Dallas doctors trying to learn why CHS senior Jaden Isler collapsed last week.
Clovis High School senior Jaden Isler is in Dallas where doctors continue their search for answers to why the basketball star collapsed last Thursday at a softball game in Canyon, Texas, the Clovis News Journal reported. J.D. Isler, Jaden's father and a coach at Clovis High, said staff at Baptist St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillio were unable to learn what caused the athlete's heart to stop and that he is undergoing further tests at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, the News Journal reported. Isler, who has verbally committed to play basketball at Charleston Southern University, was scheduled to play in the Golden Spread All-Star Games in Amarillo April 10-12, but is unlikely to take part, his father told the News Journal. “Once we find out what it is, we don't want to rush into any kind of decision,” J.D. Isler told the paper. “This isn't something you want to rush.”
