Commercial recycling on Friday; residential drop-off on Saturday.

The "Free Electronic Recycling Event" co-sponsored by the city of Albuquerque, Intel New Mexico and Natural Evolution will be held on two days this weekend, instead of just one reported on this morning's Metro/N.M. page in the Albuquerque Journal.

Commercial recycling will take place between 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday at the north-side parking lot at Balloon Fiesta Park, and residential drop-off will be held at the same hours, same place, on Saturday, according to the corrected version of the story.

Items accepted for recycling include computer monitors (CRTs and LCDs accepted); all office-related equipment, including fax machines, copiers, typewriters; CPUs, including accessories and peripherals; consumer electronics, including radios, telephones (celluar and regular phones); cameras; and stereo equipment.

Televisions and home appliances, including microwaves, refrigerators, air conditioners and the like, will not be accepted, according to the Journal.
