NBC "Today" show's weatherman Al Roker in ABQ today for charity.

KOB-TV's Steve Stucker is clearly thrilled with the appearance of Al Roker, who is doing his weather standup for the NBC "Today" show from Albuquerque this morning.

Roker is here on his annual "Lend a Hand Today" tour of American cities, and Stucker just revealed that the "secret, undisclosed location" from which Roker will broadcast is Cuidando los Ninos where volunteers and NBC staff will unload a truck filled with items donated from major sponsors.

Roker has already delivered donations to charities in Boise, Idaho, and Boulder, Colo., at stops this week, and will go on to Oklahoma City and Atlanta, according to a preview in the Albuquerque Journal.

Cuidando los Ninos is a daycare center for homeless children and their families.

Roker told Stucker this is his first visit to Albuquerque, and he appeared fetched by the number of "dreamcatchers" he noticed in Old Town, where the "Today" weatherman spent the night.
