Unidentified adult male was attacked in parking lot of Journal Pavilion.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office's Criminal Investigations Division is looking into an early Sunday morning stabbing in the parking lot of the Journal Pavilion, where top hip-hop artist Kanye West was performing.

The stabbing victim, an adult male whose name hasn't been released, was taken by ambulance to University of New Mexico Hospital, where he was reported in stable condition, sheriff's office spokeswoman Erin Kinnard Thompson told ABQjournal.com.

Deputies arrived on scene at 12:23 a.m. Sunday, but there was little information about who stabbed the man or why, Kinnard Thompson told us.

Earlier in the evening, around 10 p.m. Saturday, an 18-year-old male was ejected from the concert and allegedly bit the security guard who was escorting him out on the finger and later confronted a deputy, according to Kinnard Thompson.

The man, whose name hasn't been released, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery and assault on a peace officer, the spokeswoman said.
