Neighborhood near Grant Middle School was sealed off during 2-hour manhunt.

Albuquerque Police arrested a home invasion suspect after they found him hiding just a few blocks from the home he broke into earlier this morning.

Police have not named the man, who they say is in his 20s. Police said the man busted into an elderly couple's home near Garcia and Easterday NE armed with a knife. While inside he demanded money and took the woman's purse. During the confrontation, the elderly husband got a minor cut on his hand.

The search is going on in the neighborhood of Grant Middle School, which has not been put on lockdown so far, Albuquerque Public Schools spokeswoman Monica Armenta told KRQE News 13
