The cost of the Trigo Fire has grown to more than $7.5 million, fire officials just reported.  They also reported at this hour that 30 more outbuildings, such as sheds and garages, were destroyed. Earlier this morning, fire officials had reported the cost at $6.7 millon. But over the past 24 hours, more than 640 firefighters have been battling the blaze with the help of five helicopters.  Firefighters made significant progress on the fire today, getting 45 percent containment. It has burned 13,680 acres and destroyed a total of 98 structures, including 59 homes and 39 outbuildings.

Calm winds are expected to aid firefighting efforts Sunday morning. Fire officals said crews will be backburning at the center of the fire to reduce the amount of fuel that can be burned. Residents should expect more smoke, they said.
