Forecast office says Albuquerque highs in lower 90s

The National Weather Service says it could be a windy day today in the Albuquerque area. Forecasters say wind gusts of up to 40 miles per hour are possible as a strong outflow moves through the central mountain chain.

Today: Isolated showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 93. Southeast wind between 10 and 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. Southeast wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 89. East wind between 10 and 15 mph.
