Memorial service set for today at 11 a.m.
The memorial service for former two-term Albuquerque Mayor Harry Kinney
will take place at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper NE. Private burial
will follow.
Kinney died Tuesday at the age of 81.
While he was mayor, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta was
created, land for the Rio Grande Nature Center was purchased, the first
bike trail was built and the first senior center opened.
