Man allegedly assaults ex-girlfriend, hoping to convince her to drop domestic violence charges A man was charged with retaliation against a witness Tuesday after he allegedly battered his ex-girlfriend. Robert Trujillo, 31, allegedly beat his ex-girlfriend near a northeast Albuquerque apartment, punching her in the face and giving her a bloody nose. According to a criminal complaint, Trujillo told the victim while he was beating her that he wanted her to drop pending domestic violence charges from October 2008. Trujillo could not be found at the scene and is still wanted by police.
