Alleged Bad Teeth Bandit arrested Thursday might be responsible for several Albuquerque bank robberies
Russell O'Neal Brown, who is suspected of being the Bad Teeth Bandit, was arrested Thursday night by Albuquerque police and Rio Rancho authorities, accoding to an FBI news release.
Brown is suspected of being responsible
for six bank robberies in the Albuquerque
metro area this year.
He had his initial appearance in federal court this
morning (Oct. 30) and remains in federal custody. He will have a
preliminary/detention hearing on Monday.
According to the news release the alleged robberies he is suspected in include:
January - Kirtland Federal Credit Union at Coors and Alameda
March - Wells Fargo inside the Albertsons at Coors and Montano
May - Kirtland Federal Credit Union at Coors and Alameda
July- Kirtland Federal Credit Union at Coors and Alameda
September- Kirtland Federal Credit Union at Coors and Alameda
October - NM Bank and Trust at 9500 Eubank near Montgomery
