A man, who allegedly fired a weapon used for snake hunting, wounds another man

Albuquerque police are trying to locate a man who allegedly fired a weapon from an apartment balcony striking another man.
The suspect allegedly fired a snake-shot from one apartment balcony to another balcony hitting a man just after midnight Friday. A snake-shot type weapon fires small pellets usually used to kill snakes, according to Albuquerque Police spokesman John Walsh said.
The man who was shot received non life-threatening injuries in the incident. He was taken to the hospital.
Police were given the identity and description of the man who allegedly fired the weapon. An arrest warrant has been issued for his arrest, Walsh said.
