A flight from Charlotte to Los Angeles touched down in Albuquerque after a passenger became disruptive and started to disrobe. More photos after the jump.
US Airways Flight 705 was diverted to Albuquerque so that 50 year old Keith Wright could be handed over to police. There were two off-duty police from Los Angeles, one city and one county, who helped detain Wright on board the aircraft after he began stripping off his clothes and running around the cabin.
It is unclear why the man behaved the way he did. He had an alcoholic drink at the airport, but not on the plane. He was also taking undisclosed medication that, when combined with the high altitude, may have caused his erratic behavior.
The flight continued its trip to LA as Wright was detained for federal prosecution.
