TOPEKA, Kan. -- A former Topeka school paraprofessional who received probation for sexually assaulting a student has been indicted on one charge of sexually assaulting the same boy in New Mexico.

The Topeka Capital-Journal reported that 39-year-old Jennifer Dawn Liskey was indicted Thursday by a grand jury in Doña Ana County with one count of fourth-degree criminal penetration of a child age 13 to 16.

According to the newspaper, Liskey is charged in New Mexico with "alleged illegal conduct" similar to what she was convicted of in Kansas. The alleged incident occurred in 2007 when the victim, 15, his parents and Liskey were traveling in New Mexico while Liskey was serving with the Kansas Army National Guard along the border.

In the Kansas case, she pleaded no contest in January to aggravated indecent liberties and criminal sodomy. She was scheduled to be released from jail on Monday.

Liskey was a paraprofessional at a Topeka middle school when she met the victim. The newspaper does not elaborate on her job description.

Law enforcement officers in New Mexico were contacted by the district attorney in Shawnee County, Kan., after Liskey was placed on probation.
