"Self-made millionaire" on show's new season.
The Donald is back with the fifth edition of NBC's hit show "The Apprentice" -- moved from Thursday to Monday, and along with Lenny from Russia and Tarek the Mensa member will be 31-year-old Andrea Lake, who has lived in Santa Fe for a little more than a year. According to a story published in Saturday's Journal North, Lake has made a fortune founding several companies that merge technology and pop culture. One of her companies is an online customized sticker company called StickerJunkie (and you thought only Romy and Michelle had that idea). Lake's bio on "The Apprentice" Web site lists her home town as San Diego, but says she's involved in charitable projects in Santa Fe, where she now lives. In an interview with TV Guide, Donald Trump has high praise for Lake. "Amazing," he calls her. "She's made millions of dollars, probably the most successful cast member from a dollar standpoint. She skipped college, (yet is) possibly the most successful of all of them. She's a very, very tough and smart person." But Donald -- who is in the middle of highly publicized and nasty spat with former "Apprentice" clone Martha Stewart -- says nice things about all the contestants. Until they're fired. et's see how Lake does with tonight's task -- selling memberships to Sam's Club. Now that the Winter Olympics have melted away, "The Apprentice" returns to prime time on NBC -- 8-9 p.m. tonight on KOB-TV (Channel 4).
