Beginning today there will be lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays in both directions on Paseo del Norte and Alameda for paving work, the Albuquerque Journal reported.

The work on Paseo will take place between Jefferson and 2nd Street through Aug. 9, and Alameda's lane closures will be between the Rio Grande and the railroad tracks through Aug. 1, the Journal reported.

Eastbound Paseo from the railroad tracks to Jefferson also will have the two right lanes closed for utility work from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each evening from today through Thursday, according to the Journal.
