Annette Martinez, 25, of Las Cruces was arrested this morning and charged with one count of criminal sexual penetration of a minor for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old boy she had been babysitting, the Las Cruces Sun-News is reporting.

Detectives learned that Martinez had been babysitting the boy and two of his siblings since June 1, the paper said.

Martinez allegedly told investigators she had been having sex with the boy since July 8 and may now be pregnant, the Sun-News reported.

More charges may be pending, police told the Sun-News.

Martinez was booked into the Dona Ana County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond, the paper reported.
