Have Gov. Bill Richardson and the Clintons buried the political hatchet?

Richardson Wednesday morning said he will host a pair of New Mexico fundraisers next month to help pay down Hillary Clinton's substantial presidential campaign debt.

Richardson, who served as energy secretary and U.N. ambassador under former President Bill Clinton, angered some backers of Clinton's presidential bid earlier this year when he decided to back Barack Obama's White House bid.

Hillary Clinton is slated to attend both Aug. 17 fundraising events,  which are closed to the public.
