As if Paseo and Alameda aren't enough

The busy Montgomery and Carlisle intersection will be restricted in both directions for the next week and a half as PNM works on some gas lines.

The work is slated to begin at 9:30 a.m. today and continue from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday next week.

PNM spokesman Kevin Fuller says in the news release that  PNM workers will be replacing about 60 feet of 12-inch pipe running in several locations through the intersection.

“We understand this will affect traffic flow, but we are committed to getting the work done as quickly as possible and apologize for the inconvenience this needed work may cause,” said Eddie Padilla, PNM vice president of gas operations said in the release.
