New voting pits "Retail" agains "Mutts"
Here's your chance to influence the Journal print-edition comics page. Here's a blurb about "Retail:" "Retail, the first-ever comic strip to focus solely on this sector, presents a hilarious look at the retail industry by chronicling the daily events at the fictitious Grumbel’s department store. Created by Massachusetts retail management veteran Norm Feuti, the humor of Retail will play-out through the day-to-day trials and triumphs of four main Grumbel’s department store employees and the customers they encounter." Here's some info on "Mutts." "In more than 3,500 total strips Mutts has dealt with themes ranging from animal protection, love and kindness, art and artists, and withal a steady current that springs from a deep appreciation of nature and the sanctity of all life....and it's funny." Vote for your favorite of these two comics, one is new, and we'll keep the winner. The poll will stay open until August 22.
