September 29, 2008

2:09 p.m. - Deputies were dispatched to 2612 Metzger SW, reference to a  suspicious male.  Upon arrival Deputy Lucero took Gar Medina, 38, into custody.  Upon further investigation it was revealed that Medina broke into a Winnebago, he also attempted to steal a small motorcycle; during this time he accidently ingested gasoline and had to be transported to UNMH.  Medina will be charged with burglary as well as unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. A check through NCIC also revealed a felony warrant out of Valencia County for unlawful taking of a motor vehicle.

6 p.m. - Marc Goodman-Nevarrez an inmate in MDC, was found in possession of a 6 inch shank.  Subject was re-booked into MDC, charged with possession of a deadly weapon by a prisoner.

11:40 p.m. - Deputy Haynes was dispatched to 3320 Grace Vigil SW, reference to a wanted subject.  Units made contact with Michael Marquez, 28.  After a short pursuit, subject was arrested and charged with unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance.

7:41 a.m. - 2400 block of Shasta SW, reference shots fired and subject threatening suicide by cop. 

September 27, 2008

2:26 a.m. - 2800 block of Coors SW, reference reports of shots fired.  Subject was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, tampering with evidence and transferring and receiving a stolen firearm.

6:56 p.m.  - Wilshire and Lowell NE, truck was driving in a careless manner.  Driver fled on foot, but was located by K-9 Unit.  Subjects were arrested for trafficking and other felony warrants.

September 26, 2008   

2:53 p.m. - 10200 block of Edith NE, a traffic stop reference expired tags.  Subject was booked for 4th aggravated DWI charge, failing to maintain lanes and expired registration.

7:03 p.m. - 5900 block of 4th St NW, reference reports of a hit and run accident. Subject was highly intoxicated and was booked on charges of aggravated DWI.

10:20 p.m. - While going southbound on Coors, deputy was hit by subject making an illegal left turn and then subject hit a 3rd vehicle.  Subject was booked on charges of DWI and possession of a controlled substance.

September 25, 2008

5:00 p.m. - Isleta and Rio Bravo SW, reference a pickup chasing a car.  While searching the area, deputies were advised of an accident without injuries in the 1800 block of Doty SW.  Subject was arrested and booked without incident, charged with 1 count of aggravated assault on a household member with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault, and 2 counts of child abuse.

7:15 p.m. - 6600 block of 2nd St NW, reference an outstanding felony warrant for solicitation to commit homicide.  Subject was booked without incident.

9:43 p.m. - Old 66 MM 1, reference a felony warrant for forgery.  Subject was arrested and booked without incident. 

10:30 p.m. - 6500 Sage SW, reference an accident without injuries. Subject was confirmed to have a felony warrant and was arrested without incident.

September 24, 2008 - DELAYED INFORMATION:

8:00 p.m. - 2000 block of Don Andres SW; reference a stolen John Deere Skidster.  A search warrant was obtained and the stolen tractor was recovered.  The investigation is on going.

September 23, 2008 - DELAYED MORNING REPORT

3:00 p.m. - 2200 block of Cordelia SW, Narcotics units arrested two subjects for two outstanding warrants.

September 23, 2008

8:30 p.m. - 100 block of Coors NW, reference a hand to hand drug transaction taking place.  Subjects were arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled substance, conspiracy, and possession of a controlled substance.

10:07 p.m. - 300 block of Montano NW, reference a male subject sleeping in an alley.  Subject was found to be wanted out of Cibola County, for failure to comply with child enforcement.  Subject was arrested and booked into MDC without incident.

September 22, 2008 - DELAYED MORNING REPORT


5:30 p.m. - 1000 block of Louisiana SE, reference a Search Warrant.  Subjects were arrested for trafficking a controlled substance, tampering with evidence, and conspiracy.  

September 21, 2008

2:00 am. - 3900 block of Clinton SW, reference a shooting victim, following a road rage incident.  Offenders were located and arrested for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, tampering with evidence and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

2:55 a.m. - 10000 block of Trevino Loop, reference to a prowler.  Contact was made, but subject fled on foot.  A short foot pursuit ensued, but subject was later arrested at his residence.

8:00 a.m. - 6100 block of 2nd St. NW, reference to a possible burglary in progress.  No arrest was made.

8:43 p.m. - 3700 block of Isleta SW, reference to plates not matching the vehicle.  Driver admitted to selling paraphernalia, and was in possession of grinder/scale.  

10:15 p.m. - Northbound Isleta SW, reference a vehicle driving into oncoming traffic.  A short pursuit ensued, vehicle was stopped and driver was booked into MDC for aggravated fleeing from law enforcement and aggravated DWI.

September 20, 2008 - DELAYED INFORMATION


Time Unknown - 100 John Dantis Rd (MDC), reference an assault.  Inmate had spit on a sergeant and was rebooked for battery on a peace officer.

10:31 a.m. - I-25/MM 215 southbound, reference a motorcycle crash with injuries.  Driver of vehicle fled, but was detained later and booked on charges of leaving the scene of an accident and other misdemeanor charges.

4:45 p.m. - Old US 66/MM 5, reference a suspicious vehicle.  Driver has 2 felony warrants.  Subject attempted to flee on foot, but was taken into custody.  He was transported to hospital for back pain, and then booked into MDC.

9:00 p.m. - 4200 block of Coors SW, reference driver going the wrong way.  Subject was intoxicated and refused to stop.  He attempted to flee, but was detained and booked into MDC on felony warrants for DWI.
            

September 19, 2008 - DELAYED MORNING REPORT


12:15 a.m. - 800 block of Bridge Blvd SW, reference a pursuit.  The vehicle wrecked and the driver fled on foot and was apprehended a short time later.  

12:30 p.m. - 400 block of Georgia SE, reference an investigation. During the search, detectives recovered approximately $6,200.00 worth of stolen property.  Recovered items were returned to owner and subject was cooperative with detectives and an arrest warrant issued.

9:17 p.m. - 200 block of Los Ranchos Rd NW, reference reports of an assault.  Victim was held against her will by her boyfriend, who was under the influence of a narcotic.  He was booked into MDC on charges of false imprisonment.

September 18, 2008


3:00 a.m. - Deputies were dispatched to Armijo  Elementary school on Gate wood and Sunset SW, reference to reports of an armed male.  The school was placed on lock down and a perimeter was immediately set up.  After a detailed search, the male subject was not located.  All children were safely returned to their parents with the assistance of APS officials and BCSO.

 4:00 a.m. - Sheriffs department and APD conducted a joint weed and seed warrant round up and saturation patrol.  5 felony arrests were made for trafficking cocaine, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of controlled substance, and child abuse.  30 misdemeanor arrests were also made, and several citations were issued.                        

September 17, 2008


9:30 a.m. - 12000 block of North Hwy 14, reference reports of an accident; driver was issued several citations; no arrest made. 

6:23 p.m. - I-25 southbound just south of Rio Bravo, reference an accident involving a BCSO vehicle parked on the shoulder with emergency lights on; no arrest made.

10:30 p.m. - Southbound on Sunset SW, subject observed throwing items from his pockets over the fence. Subject arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance, tampering with evidence, and drug paraphernalia.

 September 16, 2008 

 11:10 a.m. - 2500 block of Comanche NE, reference an arrest warrant for fraud, forgery, embezzlement and tampering with evidence.    Subject was arrested for above listed charges.

5:00 p.m. - 200 block of Utah St NE, reference a search warrant.  Subject was booked on charges of possession of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence and 4 outstanding misdemeanor warrants.

7:42 p.m. - 4500 block of Valley Gardens SW, reference to a fight with weapons.  3 subjects fled, but stopped at 4000 block of Coors SW, subjects arrested and booked into MDC, charged with aggravated assault, child abuse, conspiracy, and accessory to crime. 
 

September 15, 2008 

7:00 a.m. - 900 block of Sunbeam SW, reference to an unresponsive infant. uring the investigation, units learned there were 18 persons occupying the two bedroom residence, 4 adults and 14 children.
                
8:00 a.m. - 2700 block of Foothill SW, reference to a traffic stop. Subject was apprehended for 2 warrants.  Upon further investigation, several stolen vehicles were located containing a large quantity of narcotics which were tagged into evidence.  All vehicles were seized and towed and the investigation is on-going.  
    
11:00 a.m. - 6700 block of Edgewood NW, reference to a burglary in progress.  Subjects arrested and charged with receiving and transferring a stolen vehicle, conspiracy and auto burglary.
                
7:00 p.m.- 5700 block of Douglas SW, reference to a narcotics complaint.  Subjects were booked on several charges of trafficking a controlled substance, conspiracy, felon in possession of a firearm and probation violations.

September 14, 2008

1:30 p.m. - 1600 block of Rio Bravo SW, reference to a shoplifter. Both subjects arrested.

5:30 p.m. - 1000 block of Airway SW, reference to a fight in progress.  Subject found to have an outstanding felony warrant out of Colorado for trafficking. 

September 13, 2008

10:15 p.m. - 1800 block of Coors SW, reference vehicle not maintaining lanes.  Subject arrested for aggravated DWI and 4 counts of child abuse.

11:30 p.m. - 100 block of Isleta SW, reference traffic violation.  Subject arrested for 2 warrants.

September 12, 2008

 7:30 a.m. - 6000 block of Noble Pl. NE, reference a family fight.  Subject arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

11:55 a.m. - 1800 block of Neat Lane SW, reference suspicious male subject in yard.  Subject arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and concealing ID. 

September 10, 2008

7:00 p.m. - 1600 block of Rio Bravo SW, Narcotics conducted a buy bust operation.  Subjects arrested and charged with trafficking. 

September 9, 2008

  2:33 a.m. - I-40 eastbound, reference a reckless driver; abandoned vehicle located, but no suspects were found.   

September 8, 2008

 11:00 a.m. - 1300 block of Bonito Rd SW, reference a wanted subject.  Subject arrested on 1 felony and 2 misdemeanors.  Passenger arrested on 3 misdemeanors.

12:00 p.m.- 1900 block of Trocadero Pl SW; reference a possible burglary in progress.  Subjects arrested after having been found to have a probation violation warrant and 3 misdemeanors.

9:02 p.m. - 10000 block of Coors NW, Rio Rancho DPS had subject in custody for felony warrant, BCSO took over custody.

10:24 p.m.- 1600 block of Arenal SW, reference to an auto burglary.  Subject arrested and charged with burglary, aggravated assault, and tampering with evidence.  

September 7, 2008

7:09 a.m. - 5500 block of Douglas SW reference to a domestic dispute (victim falsely imprisoned and battered).

7:17 a.m. - 4000 block of Glenn Rd. SW, reference to a domestic dispute (subject charged with felony aggravated battery).

2:18 p.m. - 7400 block of Paseo Del Volcan Rd., reference to a motorcycle accident; investigation is ongoing.

3:47 p.m. - 5600 block of University SE, reference to burglary in progress; subject arrested for possession on burglary tools and burglary.

7:30 p.m. - Arenal and Coors SW, reference to a homicide; investigation is ongoing.        
        

September 6, 2008    


3:45 p.m. - 200 block of Paseo Del Volcan in reference to a suspicious male  selling illegal pirated DVD’s.  

10:45 p.m. - 2nd/Rio Bravo SW, reference to receiving and transferring a stolen motor vehicle, as well as conspiracy.  Also trafficking a controlled substance and tampering with evidence.      

September 5, 2008 - DELAYED INFORMATION

9:00p.m. - De Baca and Vito Romero SW, reference to a down and out subject.  

11:00 a.m.- Central and Broadway, S.O.R.T conducted a TAC plan looking for a wanted sex offender.  Subject was arrested on a hold without bond felony warrant.   

 SEPTEMBER 4, 2008  

9:36 p.m. - Highway S14 and Anaya Rd, reference to a motor vehicle accident. DWI investigation pending.

SEPTEMBER 2, 2008

 7:30 p.m. - 1500 block of Bartolo Ct. SW; stolen property.

10:00 a.m.  - 2100 block of Ridgecrest Dr SE; reference reports of a wanted sex offender. 

4:29 p.m. - 2700 block of Gun Club SW; felony probation violation, trafficking controlled substance, and tampering with evidence.  

SEPTEMBER 1, 2008

7:30 p.m.  - 1500 block of Bartolo Ct. SW; stolen property.

AUGUST 31, 2008

3:05 p.m.  - 4000 block of Prince SE; stabbing and carjacking.

8:00 p.m.  - Bridge/Goff SW; traffic stop; felony warrant for armed robbery and stolen vehicle.

9:41 p.m. - Highway 66 MM 1; stolen motor vehicle.

11:00 p.m. - 2800 block of Coors SW; armed robbery.

August 26, 2008

6:13 p.m. 2500 block of Mervosh SW; domestic violence in which a child was abused.

August 25, 2008 

4 p.m. - Narcotic units executed a district court search warrant in the 6400 block of Pine park Pl NE, the target 34 year old male, was taken into custody.  Subject was also found to have a felony warrant for manufacturing methamphetamines.  Two other suspects were arrested for trafficking by manufacturing methamphetamines.  Another subject was arrested on a $10,000 warrant out of Texas.  While executing the search warrant Detectives located ingredients for an active methamphetamine lab.
