A crash near Gibson and I-25 closed the Gibson offramp between about 3:15 and 5:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The crash began when a woman jumped out of a moving van, said Albuquerque police spokeswoman Nadine Hamby. The van swerved, ran the woman over and ran into a PNM gas meter.

The van's driver and another passenger fled on foot and had not been found Tuesday night, Hamby said. Investigators were still sorting out the details of why the woman jumped out of the van. She was taken to University of New Mexico Hospital, and her injuries are not life-threatening.
