Release of transcripts helps secure Oppenheimer’s reputation

The release of unredacted transcripts of secret government hearings held in 1954 by the Atomic Energy Commission produced headlines last week as the disclosures reaffirmed the once-questioned loyalty of Los Alamos Manhattan Project mastermind J. Robert Oppenheimer.

‘Bad’ pot leads to arrest of woman at McDonald’s

An apparent marijuana deal gone wrong ended up Wednesday morning at a Santa Fe McDonald’s where Santa Fe police say they encountered a nervous and shaking 18-year-old who said he was being held against his will by a woman packing a 9mm handgun.
