RR librarian hopes for bond approval

Lynette Schurdevin, director of library and information services for the City of Rio Rancho, said she’s thoroughly enjoyed her first nine months on the job.

Rams hammer Hawks 42-0

ALBUQUERQUE — Firing on all three cylinders – offense, defense and special teams — Rio Rancho High School turned in its second shutout of the season Friday evening at Community Stadium, a 42-0 rout of Volcano Vista.

RRHS girls win 1-6A soccer title again

ALBUQUERQUE — Goals by Sophie Rodrigues and Kayla Montoya, along with a stifling defense and nice work in goal by Sara Wilmot, propelled Rio Rancho to the District 1-6A girls soccer championship Wednesday afternoon at Volcano Vista High School.
