A runner in the Color Me Rad 5K is almost completely obscured in a cloud of pink, which was the whole point of the fun run at Balloon Fiesta Park on Sunday, with part of the proceeds benefiting NMX Sports, which helps kids enjoy activities and the outdoors. Unlike traditional fun runs, the thousand or so participants were encouraged to wear white so they could bombard one another with a rainbow selection of colored cornstarch.
