N.M. Goodwill honorees named

Goodwill Industries of New Mexico recently announced this year's Edgars, recognizing outstanding New Mexicans in the field of human services, and will honor them at a banquet later this month.
The winners are:
• 2010 Employee of the Year, Dorian Dodson, cabinet secretary of N.M. Children, Youth and Families.
• 2010 Volunteer of the Year, Greg Senn, Habitat for Humanity of Roosevelt and Curry counties; Portales.
• 2010 Organization of the Year, Bernalillo County Council of PTAs Clothing Bank; Albuquerque.
• 2010 Chairman's Award, Paul Luttrell, Adelante Development Center.
• 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award, Kay Osborn, disability educator, advocate, author and trainer; Albuquerque.
Each winner will be honored at the fourth annual "Celebration of Good Will" dinner on March 27 at the Embassy Suites hotel in Albuquerque. The event is open to the public and will be hosted by KOB-TV News anchor Nicole Brady, featuring guest performers from Albuquerque's Blackout Theatre.

The Edgars are named after Edgar Helms, founder of Goodwill Industries in 1906 in Boston, Mass.
