Balloons aloft at Tuesday’s fiesta

Officials at Balloon Fiesta Park flew the green flag signaling all events at balloon fiesta were a go Tuesday morning. The Dawn Patrol and Flying Competition launched without a hitch.

Monday’s events go off without a hitch

It was a picture perfect day at Balloon Fiesta Park as balloons filled the Monday morning sky on the third day of the 2013 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

Hot-air balloons have inflated. The Glow is even bigger and better than yesterday! Weather is calm and not too cold.

Sunday’s Mass Ascension lifts off

AFD units responding to reports of a balloon wrapped around a light pole at 6000 Alexander NE report that there were no injuries to the balloon occupants. It was an otherwise perfect ballooning day.
Officials at Balloon Fiesta park switched the flag on the field to green, clearing Sunday morning’s Mass Ascension for launch.
