Academy boys win their home tourney

The fate of the Albuquerque Academy boys soccer team was put in the hands of an eighth-grader Saturday morning.

Northern schools ready to have an impact at state tourney

The north hasn’t had a soccer team playing on the final day of the season since 2011 and hasn’t claimed a championship since the Los Alamos boys won the Class 4A title in 2010, but local schools are poised to make some postseason noise this time.
