Journal Staff ReportArmy Spec. Alexander Jordan, a former Cibola High School student, was killed in Iraq on Sunday when his Stryker unit came under small-arms fire in Baghdad, according to the Defense Department.
Jordan, 31, was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 172nd Stryker Brigade, based at Fort Richardson, Alaska.
