SANTA FE -- Gov. Gary Johnson said Tuesday he will probably sign a $3.3 billion state budget sent to him by the Democrat-controlled Legislature, but he also said he expects to pare some spending with his line-item veto.
Meanwhile, state lawmakers said they hoped to finish work on a series of other bills today and conclude the special legislative session called by Johnson, which started May 4.
