DRAWING FROM LIFE: I would love to be Erika Wanenmacher for a day. I'd wake up, put on my fleece sweatshirt with the Powerpuff Girls insignia, pad into the studio, look around at all the stuff — tools, tins, boxes, toys — and decide what I want to make. Since I can build and carve, weld and photograph, the sky's pretty much the limit.
