McCain To Make Rally Stop at UNM
Associated Press
Republican presidential candidate John McCain will be in New Mexico today.
His campaign announced Sunday that the Arizona senator will stop in Albuquerque to headline a campaign rally. The event will be held at the University of New Mexico's Student Union Building at 1:15 p.m. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
McCain was last in New Mexico at the beginning of September, when he and running mate Sarah Palin held a rally in Albuquerque that attracted more than 6,000 supporters. The two also stopped at El Pinto restaurant in Albuquerque's North Valley to get some of the restaurant's popular salsa and shake hands with customers.
