With spring coming, dress right for hitting the trail

From Journal Reports
What's that relentless sound we hear outside? Why, it's the wind, hinting that spring is just around the corner.
(For those keeping track, it actually gets here on March 20.)
Anybody who's lived in the New Mexico for long can attest to blustery days and lots of dust kicked up by spring winds. For those out exploring the trails, dressing right can prove a challenge, as temperatures can vary between high and low without a lot of notice.
The REI Venturi Quarter-Zip long-sleeve shirt delivers unbeatable performance on the trail. Even on the longest, most challenging days the Venturi shirt ensures comfort to keep you going strong.
The knit polyester/spandex blend provides four-way stretch to enhance comfort. It also sports a UPF rating of 50-plus, providing excellent protection against ultraviolet rays.
The fabric wicks moisture and resists abrasion, while the deep front zipper allows adjustment for ventilation. The collar is lined with soft, sweat-wicking polyester tricot.
        It's available in both men's and women's models, for a suggested retail price of $59.50. There's also a men's short-sleeved version for $49.50.
It's available at REI stores in Albuquerque and Santa Fe.
