So far, the judicial community has been very quiet about Mayor Martin Chavez's attack on them. 
The mayor recently announced he was going to have the city's chief public safety office keep track of "problematic" judges who sentence repeat offenders to probation or set low bonds. He said he was going to "highlight" certain judges in news conference. When asked to respond, judges have offered no comment. Read the Journal story here
But actions, speak louder than words. The issue came up in court while Metropolitan Court Judge Sandra Clinton was conducting a hearing to determine if well-known developer Jason Dasklaos violated his probation. During the hearing Daskalos' attorney, Robert Gorence, brought up the mayor's watch on judges. When he did, Clinton rolled her eyes.
