The New Xbox Experience is now available for Xbox 360 owners.
Firing up the 360 this morning, I was met with a prompt to install. Downloading and installing was quick and smooth.
The redesign of the 360 interface offers a few cool features:
- Creating an avatar, a visual representation of yourself, similar to the Nintendo Mii. (That’s mine on the right, although it still needs some work.)
- The option to install games on your hard drive, which speeds up loading times and reduces wear-and-tear on your DVD drive
- Access to the Play Now library from Netflix (assuming you have a subscription to the service).
