Former Wilson Staffer Talks About Clinton’s Trip to Indonesia

Robert “Alo” Cushing, an El Paso native and UNM grad who worked for several years in Rep. Heather Wilson’s Washington office, this week talked to the Washington Post on the heels of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s recent trip to Indonesia.

Cushing now works with the International Republican Institute in Washington. He’s traveled to Indonesia several times in recent months and talks about IRI’s recent polling in this economic and cultural hotbed, which also happens to be home base for the world’s largest Muslim population.

Check out Cushing’s brief interview here.

His section of the audio clip begins at about 6:00 into the audio segment.
